Formula logic and references

Every formula starts with =. A relative reference (A2) changes when you fill down; an absolute reference ($A$2) stays fixed. In B2, enter =A2*$C$1 and fill down: each row uses its own quantity while the price in C1 stays put. Press Enter, then compare two neighbouring rows before you copy the formula across a whole report.
